Job Overview

Gulf Business Development Group is seeking a qualified Senior Engineer – Telecom Projects to supervise telecom project activities in Al Khor, Qatar. The role involves overseeing field construction, installation, and commissioning operations to ensure telecom systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily telecom construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities on-site and offshore.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors, evaluate progress reports, and address technical drifts or schedule delays.
• Lead and supervise Permit to Work (PTW) meetings and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to maintain full compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate operational issues, reconfigure system parameters, manage maintenance tasks through SAP, and coordinate escalations.
• Review constructability aspects of engineering deliverables, monitor project milestones, and assemble handover documentation.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in telecom projects and field engineering.
