Exclusive Talent Management is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QC Engineer / QC Inspector for a short-term assignment in Dubai, UAE. The role involves overseeing quality control and inspection activities across fabrication facilities and project sites to ensure all materials, fabrication processes, and site installations adhere strictly to approved drawings, project specifications, and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming material inspections at stores and verify delivered materials against Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and approved material specifications.
• Inspect supplier facilities and materials prior to dispatch and delivery.
• Perform erection and in-process inspections at fabrication facilities and project sites to ensure full compliance with approved drawings.
• Inspect prefabricated units and structural components before dispatch.
• Identify, record, and prepare snag lists prior to project completion, ensuring all snags are rectified before dispatch or final client handover.
• Prepare comprehensive in-process and final inspection reports for all fabrication and site activities.
• Develop Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) tailored to project requirements.
• Conduct internal inspections prior to raising Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) to clients or consultants.
• Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Coordinate and follow up on project handover documentation and close-out deliverables.
• Monitor subcontractor activities at fabrication yards and project sites to ensure adherence to approved materials, drawings, and quality standards.
• Deliver quality awareness training to production teams, project staff, and subcontractors.
• Issue Observation Reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for identified quality issues.
• Track NCRs, conduct root cause analyses, and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and testing in accordance with project specifications.
• Prepare weekly quality status reports summarizing fabrication and site quality performance.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a QC Engineer or QC Inspector within fabrication and project-based environments.
• Hands-on experience in incoming material inspection, fabrication inspection, and on-site quality control.
• Solid knowledge of approved engineering drawings, project specifications, and quality procedures.
• Proven proficiency in preparing WIRs, MIRs, ITPs, Method Statements, and quality inspection reports.
• Strong understanding of NCR management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and project close-out documentation.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Immediate availability to join (critical requirement).
• Willingness to commit to a short-term assignment of 2 to 3 months.

Salary and Benefits

The position offers a salary ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 AED per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
