Job Overview

Combined Group Contracting Company (K.S.C.C) is seeking a Purchasing Engineer to work in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. The primary objective of this role is to identify suppliers for required basic and contractual materials at competitive prices, ensuring suitable delivery schedules and adherence to specified technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review all purchasing requisitions to verify clarity and completeness of material and equipment descriptions.
• Identify and select suitable suppliers based on the technical specifications of each purchasing requisition.
• Request and track quotations from the company’s approved vendor list.
• Examine material price comparisons during the tendering phase.
• Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure full compliance with technical specifications and contractual terms.
• Submit vendors’ technical offers to project teams and monitor their evaluation process.
• Review project technical evaluations and report any observations or feedback to the direct manager.
• Conduct negotiations with technically qualified vendors to achieve target pricing while meeting company terms and conditions.
• Prepare final material comparison sheets for approval.
• Assess vendor performance on an ongoing basis to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive records of purchasing orders, documentation, and related communications.
• Identify and qualify prospective local and international vendors.
• Execute additional related responsibilities as delegated by the direct manager.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Residence: Candidates currently residing in Kuwait are preferred.
• Nationality: Preference is given to applicants from Arab countries.
