Marriott International is seeking a dynamic Lifestyle Bartender to join its hospitality team in Amman, Jordan. In this role, you will create memorable and engaging experiences for guests by preparing high-quality beverages, staying ahead of beverage trends, and acting as an attentive host within the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages while staying updated on new industry trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving guest preferences.
• Act as a gracious host of the bar space, taking ownership of guest service and anticipating guest needs.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and flawless operational functionality of the bar.
• Build positive professional relationships across hotel departments and with the local community.
• Handle financial transactions with precision and attention to detail.
• Provide accurate information and recommendations to guests regarding menu offerings.
• Comply with company safety policies, workplace standards, confidentiality guidelines, and uniform and grooming procedures.
• Perform physical tasks including standing or walking for extended periods, bending, stooping, and moving or lifting items up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific professional license or certification required.
• Strong passion for customer service, guest engagement, and hospitality.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
