Job Overview

Hydrofab Services is seeking a qualified Hydraulic Service Engineer to join its team in Doha, Qatar. The role involves inspecting, servicing, repairing, and testing hydraulic systems and components both in the workshop and at client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, dismantle, repair, assemble, and test hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hydraulic power units (HPUs).
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and identify the root causes of failures.
• Carry out hydraulic component servicing and maintenance in the workshop and at customer sites.
• Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and OEM manuals.
• Perform dimensional inspections and identify required spare parts and seals.
• Conduct pressure, flow, and functional testing of hydraulic components.
• Perform hydraulic oil filtration, flushing, and contamination checks when required.
• Prepare inspection reports, service reports, and final test reports.
• Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with the service team and customers to ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and HPUs.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in hydraulic servicing, repair, and troubleshooting.
