Job Overview

Al Futtaim Group is seeking a Handover Specialist to join the Al-Futtaim Automotive BYD team in Saudi Arabia. The Handover Specialist oversees the final and critical stage of the customer journey, vehicle delivery, ensuring a structured, premium, and brand-aligned handover experience. The position ensures a seamless transition from sales to ownership by preparing vehicles, finalizing all documentation, and guiding customers through vehicle features, safety technologies, and connected platforms to drive customer satisfaction, Net Promoter Scores, and long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Handover Experience and Delivery: Conduct structured, manufacturer-aligned vehicle handovers, including full vehicle feature walkthroughs, infotainment setup, and connected services activation. Personalize deliveries for VIP, corporate, and loyalty clients, ensuring vehicles are fully prepped (PDI completed, detailing, charge or fuel levels, and accessories fitted) to dealership standards.
• Documentation and Compliance: Verify the completeness and accuracy of delivery documentation, including registration, insurance, finance agreements, warranties, and service contracts. Secure all required signatures and compliance forms, set up OEM mobile apps and connected services profiles, and adhere to KYC and audit standards.
• Customer Education: Educate customers on critical vehicle systems, including ADAS, safety systems, infotainment, and connected features. Provide detailed guidance on electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid operations, such as charging procedures, battery care, and range management. Clarify maintenance schedules, roadside assistance, and aftersales touchpoints, conducting post-delivery test drives when needed.
• Customer Experience and Retention: Perform follow-up calls within 24 to 72 hours post-delivery to confirm customer satisfaction and resolve inquiries promptly. Gather customer feedback for Sales, Service, and PDI teams, promote referral and loyalty programs, and aim for zero-defect handovers to minimize post-delivery escalations.
