Job Overview

Gulf Business Development Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Telecom Engineer to oversee industrial telecommunications and network infrastructure in Al Khor, Qatar. The role involves executing maintenance, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure reliable and secure telecom operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on industrial telecommunications and network systems.
• Install, configure, test, and commission telecom equipment, including participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Support core technologies including fiber optic networks, structured cabling, LAN/WAN networks, CCTV, Public Address and General Alarm (PA/GA) systems, radio communications (VHF/UHF), and telephony.
• Ensure full compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures.
• Review, interpret, and maintain telecom drawings, block diagrams, cable schedules, and technical specifications.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering (Electronics or Telecommunications).
• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in industrial telecom systems.
