Job Overview

Elegancia Services is seeking a qualified Lead Estimator – Catering to manage and drive tendering, bidding, and cost estimation activities in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on delivering accurate cost models, competitive pricing strategies, and comprehensive commercial proposals for large-scale catering contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead catering tendering, bidding, and estimation processes from RFP/RFQ review to final submission.
• Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQs), cost breakdowns, commercial proposals, and pricing models.
• Develop comprehensive costing models for food, manpower, equipment, logistics, and operational overheads.
• Analyse tender requirements, contract conditions, and potential commercial risks.
• Evaluate contract profitability, profit margins, and overall pricing competitiveness.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other relevant departments.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based costing and financial models.
• Support commercial negotiations and provide clarifications during tender evaluation stages.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in catering tendering, estimation, or bidding.
• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale workforce catering, labor camps, hospitals, universities, or facility management catering projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial pricing, contract terms, food costing, labor costing, and overhead management.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation capabilities.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or Technology/Engineering (Agriculture or Biochemistry).
• 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
