Job Overview

ENGISOFT ENGINEERING ARCHITECTURAL PROSPECTIVE DRA is looking for a Structural BIM Engineer to join their team in the UAE. The role focuses on creating and managing accurate 3D structural BIM models and ensuring interdisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and maintain accurate 3D structural BIM models for concrete, steel, and post-tensioned structures using Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Coordinate structural models with Architectural and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks Manage and cloud platforms.
• Extract structural general arrangement drawings, fabrication shop drawings, and schedule reports compliant with project standards.
• Implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and maintain modeling protocols and LOD standards.
• Perform regular QA/QC model checks to ensure accuracy, parameter inputs, and metadata integrity.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and Navisworks Manage.
• Solid command of AutoCAD and cloud platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360.
• Working knowledge of Dynamo for Revit visual scripting is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with international and regional BIM standards such as ISO 19650.
• Strong foundational understanding of structural design, concrete framing, steel connections, and rebar modeling.
• High attention to detail and ability to detect geometry discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-discipline collaboration.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or a Diploma in Construction Technology.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
