Senior Quality Engineer

Job Overview

Nuhas Global KSA is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure copper products meet customer, ISO, and Saudi standards while reducing defects. The role involves monitoring process stability, managing quality documentation, and overseeing QC operations to maintain high product standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure copper products comply with customer, ISO, and Saudi standards.
• Monitor process stability using Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Manage instrument calibration and batch test certificates.
• Approve, hold, or reject production lots and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Inspect in-process and finished goods against technical specifications.
• Handle customer quality complaints and support internal, external, and ISO 9001 audits.
• Supervise and provide guidance to QC inspectors and laboratory technicians.
• Prepare comprehensive quality reports for management.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Materials, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of QC experience within a copper, wire and cable, or metals manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience with copper rod and bus bar production is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ASTM/EN/IEC copper standards, and material testing methods (chemical, conductivity, tensile, dimensional).
• Strong documentation skills with proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
