Oracle is seeking an experienced Oracle Banking Functional Consultant in Egypt to drive the delivery of core banking solutions. In this role, you will work independently and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design functional specifications, and ensure the successful deployment of banking products.

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver assigned projects.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, producing comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into functional specifications, product configurations, and solution designs.
• Take full ownership of the quality, accuracy, and completeness of functional deliverables.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and scenarios, ensuring full traceability between business requirements, functional specifications, and test coverage.
• Execute functional and regression testing, log and track defects using tools such as Jira, and coordinate resolution through to closure.
• Lead and mentor team members while ensuring adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) standards.
• Conduct product walkthroughs, customer presentations, and training sessions for functional and technical teams.
• Develop proofs of concept, training materials, and reusable product and functional documentation.
• Learn and apply testing automation tools to expand test coverage.
• Continuously build expertise in emerging banking domains and product capabilities to enhance project delivery.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven business analysis experience within the banking domain.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and their practical application to banking workflows.
• Hands-on functional experience across at least two banking modules.
• Demonstrated experience in product configuration, solution architecture/design, and functional testing.
• Hands-on experience developing BRDs, FSDs, test plans, and test cases.
• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience leading teams and managing coordination between business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, presentation, training, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools, particularly Jira.
• Sound understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to assimilate new banking domains quickly and work autonomously.
• Preferred: Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience with major core banking platforms such as Oracle FLEXCUBE, Finastra, Temenos T24, or Finacle.
• Preferred: Knowledge of or practical experience in Islamic banking.
