Job Overview

Qtutoring is seeking Online University Accounting Tutors to deliver remote, university-level instruction to students in Qatar. This is a freelance, remote opportunity focused on providing targeted academic support across core and advanced accounting subjects.

Subject Areas

Candidates should be qualified to teach one or more of the following areas:

• Financial accounting
• Managerial and cost accounting
• Intermediate accounting
• Financial statement preparation and analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, and Excel-based accounting exercises

Additional expertise in auditing, accounting information systems (AIS), financial modelling, advanced accounting, IFRS/IAS, or taxation is highly welcome. Applicants may specialize in selected courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and small-group online lessons aligned with students’ university course outlines.
• Explain accounting concepts, journal entries, and financial statements through clear, step-by-step worked examples.
• Guide students through complex calculations, case studies, and Excel-based exercises.
• Identify learning gaps and adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs.
• Prepare practical exercises, support exam revision, and monitor academic progress.
• Maintain strict punctuality, student confidentiality, and academic integrity.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Applications from qualified tutors currently based in Jordan and Egypt are particularly welcome; other qualified remote applicants may also apply.
• Preferred nationalities: Egyptian, Jordanian, and Tunisian.
