Job Overview

ARCO Turnkey Solutions Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-oriented MEP Estimation Engineer to join its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on performing quantity take-offs, preparing accurate cost estimates, and formulating competitive tender submissions for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across turnkey projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimations, pricing sheets, and commercial tender proposals.
• Request, analyze, and evaluate competitive quotations from material suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in the compilation and final submission of technical and commercial bids.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project execution teams during the bidding phase.
• Identify cost-saving alternatives and propose value engineering solutions.
• Maintain estimation records, subcontractor databases, and historical cost data.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid clarification meetings as required.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and MS Excel.
• Solid technical understanding of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prior experience in construction and interior fit-out projects in the UAE is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and professional communication skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in MEP estimation and tendering.
