Job Overview

Propel Consult is recruiting a qualified and strategic Finance Manager to be based in Manama, Bahrain. The role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial compliance while leading the finance and accounting team to drive business performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial planning.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and overall financial performance.
• Prepare and review detailed financial reports and provide strategic insights to senior management.
• Ensure full compliance with financial laws, regulatory standards, and internal corporate policies.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain robust financial controls and risk management frameworks.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting department.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to support business expansion and commercial profitability.
• Liaise effectively with external auditors, banking partners, investors, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize costs, enhance efficiency, and strengthen financial health.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (mandatory).
• Professional accounting or financial certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Master’s degree in Finance or an MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
• Strong working knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated track record in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial risk mitigation.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing finance teams.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, financial modeling, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities with the ability to convey insights to senior stakeholders.
• High degree of integrity, professional ethics, and capability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
