Job Overview

Black Pearl is looking for a Research Assistant specialized in Clinical Research to be based in Dubai, UAE. This role supports clinical investigators by coordinating study activities, managing participant records, and ensuring accurate data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify suitable study participants by reviewing eligibility against study-specific requirements.
• Guide participants through study information and support the informed consent process.
• Coordinate participant appointments, follow-up visits, and communication with clinical teams.
• Collect and enter research information into electronic study databases, ensuring data integrity.
• Maintain organized participant files, consent records, and essential study documentation.
• Support the preparation and tracking of ethics submissions, study updates, and approval records.
• Inform the research team about recruitment progress, participant follow-ups, and operational issues.
• Prepare study files for quality reviews, audits, and inspections.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Biology, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• At least one year of experience in clinical research or a relevant field.
• Practical exposure to patient interaction, participant screening, or study recruitment.
• Experience in collecting research data, maintaining records, and working with electronic databases.
• Understanding of research ethics, participant confidentiality, and adherence to study procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple follow-ups.
• Mandatory Requirement: Emirati national.
