Job Overview

Veolia is seeking an experienced Operations Dispatcher to join its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will support the Senior Operations Dispatcher in supervising task allocation, service delivery, route and fleet management, driver scheduling, and performance monitoring. The position plays a key operational role in maintaining service quality, optimizing resource utilization, and meeting contract requirements in full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate operational task management systems such as FSI and Tadweer’s Bolisaty system to extract data, schedule tasks, and track service execution.
• Upload, update, and maintain client contracts and job records in the task management portal without delay.
• Schedule and execute waste collection operations and client services according to agreed contractual timelines and service level agreements.
• Supervise fleet operations, track vehicle locations using IVMS, and optimize daily routing and fuel consumption.
• Monitor vehicle downtime, driver utilization, and maintenance schedules, coordinating closely with the workshop to achieve a 95% on-time planned preventive maintenance (PPM) rate.
• Ensure daily pre-trip inspections by drivers and monthly vehicle inspections are conducted, investigating damages and reporting issues promptly to workshop and QHSE teams.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints escalated from customer service in line with company procedures.
• Manage driver shift schedules, attendance, and leave plans in compliance with UAE labor laws while maintaining round-the-clock service coverage.
• Analyze operational data, track KPIs, and produce accurate operational and management reports.
• Plan site mobilizations and demobilizations, arrange resources and equipment, and support HR in interviewing and assessing team candidates.
• Enforce strict compliance with Veolia and OSHAD QHSE policies, lead safety observations, and participate in incident investigations.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Hold a relevant educational qualification from a recognized academic institution.
• Minimum of 5 to 6 years of industrial experience, preferably in waste management, oil and gas, or related utility sectors.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity, with 3 to 4 years of solid operations coordination experience.
• Valid UAE light vehicle driving license is mandatory.
• Proven working proficiency in Tadweer’s Bolisaty platform and task management systems (such as FSI).
• Strong working knowledge of fleet management, route optimization, waste management practices, and IVMS tracking.
• Sound understanding of environmental hazards and HSE standards, including OSHAD regulations.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English as well as Hindi or Urdu is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• High proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and data analytics tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and cross-cultural team collaboration skills.
