Sembol Construction is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee site execution for a luxury hotel construction project located in Fujairah, UAE. The role focuses on supervising daily construction activities, coordinating project teams, ensuring quality control, and verifying compliance with approved civil building drawings and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site supervisors to maintain smooth site operations.
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Track construction progress and enforce compliance with project milestones and deadlines.
• Ensure all site work meets specified quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections and coordinate inspection requests with consultants and project teams.
• Identify site issues, technical discrepancies, and potential delays, arranging prompt corrective actions.
• Oversee material requirements, site deliveries, and storage to maintain continuous and efficient operations.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and relevant technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to uphold high standards of quality, health, and safety.
• Manage coordination across different trades and subcontractors to eliminate workflow clashes and rework.
• Assist in resolving on-site engineering challenges in accordance with approved drawings and applicable UAE regulations.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience within the UAE construction industry (mandatory; fresh graduates and candidates without UAE experience will not be considered).
• Previous experience on hotel, hospitality, luxury residential, or high-end commercial projects is preferred.
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies, on-site supervision, and project coordination.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil construction drawings and engineering specifications.
• Solid knowledge of quality control procedures, site inspection processes, and construction documentation.
• Strong communication, site coordination, and technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet critical project deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant civil engineering software is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site at the project location in Fujairah, UAE.
