YK Group (Yousef Alkoot Design & Build) is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer for a full-time, on-site position at project sites in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The role involves reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, supervising execution works on-site, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and delivering technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring complete compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise site execution works directly and verify workmanship quality against approved technical specifications.
• Prepare and audit Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tracking executed quantities and site progress.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on payment certificates as well as contractor and supplier invoices.
• Draft variation requests alongside technical and financial proposals, performing comparative analyses.
• Develop, update, and manage project work plans and schedules, tracking actual completion rates against baselines.
• Generate regular progress reports and submit comprehensive project documentation to management.
• Monitor project deliverables using electronic systems and project management software.
• Coordinate effectively with design teams, execution staff, suppliers, and consultants to drive project efficiency.
• Resolve technical challenges on-site by formulating and implementing sound engineering solutions.
• Enforce strict occupational health and safety regulations in accordance with established standards and policies.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance overall project performance and achieve corporate objectives.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
