Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with project specifications and organizational goals.
• Source, evaluate, prequalify, and select suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and conditions with vendors to secure optimal value and mitigate commercial risks.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineering teams to forecast and fulfill material and service requirements.
• Monitor market trends, raw material pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and manage supply chain risks.
• Maintain detailed procurement documentation and generate regular reports on purchasing activities and spend analysis.
• Ensure full compliance with internal corporate governance policies and relevant local statutory regulations across all procurement stages.
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior procurement personnel to foster team development.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience within the construction and contracting industry.
• Strong commercial negotiation, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Proven track record in managing complex procurement packages and managing subcontractor relationships.
• Solid understanding of local UAE construction procurement regulations and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in specialized procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet demanding project deadlines.
• Professional fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Exceptional organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination capabilities.
