The successful candidate will oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials and services essential to construction projects, ensuring quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery to support ongoing site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality materials and services.
• Negotiate purchase contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve optimal commercial terms.
• Coordinate closely with project managers and site engineers to determine procurement requirements and project schedules.
• Manage purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
• Monitor inventory levels proactively to prevent project shortages or unnecessary overstocking.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards across all purchasing activities.
• Collaborate with the finance department on budget control, invoice verification, and payment processing.
• Conduct regular market research to monitor industry trends and evaluate new construction materials and technologies.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Purchase Officer or in a comparable procurement role within the construction sector.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, heavy equipment, and established supplier networks across the UAE.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market conditions and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Proficiency in specialized procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
