Job Overview

The Mahjong Boutique is seeking a creative, organized, and hands-on Content, Marketing & Operations Assistant to join our growing team in Dubai, UAE. This is an all-around position that balances digital content creation and marketing with customer care, event management, and day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Social Media: Plan and execute the content calendar, manage daily Instagram activity, capture high-quality photos/videos during events, and create branded graphics in Canva.
• Paid Advertising: Set up and manage campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok, tracking performance metrics and optimizing creatives for The Mahjong Boutique and the group’s second business.
• Customer Care & Bookings: Manage inquiries via WhatsApp, email, and social media; process registrations and bookings; and provide professional customer support.
• Event Management: Coordinate regular social Mahjong sessions and lessons, including setup, attendee management, table allocations, and on-site support in Dubai.
• Boutique Operations: Support Shopify order fulfillment, maintain product catalogues, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Administrative Support: Assist the founder with scheduling, correspondence, file management, and documentation.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong self-starter capable of managing tasks independently.
• Proficiency in digital content creation, social media management, and basic graphic design.
• Experience or aptitude for managing paid advertising campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Availability to work Sunday to Friday (Saturday off) with responsiveness between 9:00am and 7:00pm.
• Ability to attend on-site sessions, shoots, lessons, and events in Dubai as required.
